At Red Eye Ops we try to keep our nose in new technologies. We have experimented with many cutting edge codes. We want to master all these codes before the become fully compliant with all browsers. You can check out some of our latest projects here. Feel free to scavenge our coding, and criticize them as well.
HTML 5 Video Controls with jQuery

HTML 5 Video tags have been popping up and most large video media site like YouTube and Vimeo. It will surely be the future of visual media on the web. We have not been fully engorged in the new tags but have gotten our noses wet (purely because of funding). As you can read were using a hybrid of jQuery and Javascript to control the video. It is not the best player you will find on the web but I feel it has a lot of potential.
Right now it is merely a play and pause button and a progress bar that only shows timed played. If you would like to contribute any code feel free just message us with the proposal and set you up with an FTP if you would like.
Importing Social Media JSON Feeds.

We have recently gotten into working feeds. Before we mainly would work with feed automatically imported by a CMS, but for some reason JSON has really caught our eyes, and the field looks promising. First step, Figure out how to manipulate all the JSON media we can get our hands on. One in particular we really want to look into is YouTube’s API for their JSON feeds. Especially because the newer JSON-C feeds that have more functionality.
If you have any insight into working with these feeds contact us as soon as possible. We would love to interview you for a job.
